Biography
Olayinka Ekenkwo (a.k.a. Hephzibah) is a dynamic daughter of Zion with a burning passion to serve God and lead others to Jesus Christ, her Saviour and Master. An evangelist by calling, she is also an intercessor and prayer warrior. Olayinka is a lawyer, a faithful wife, mother, as well as a highly talented woman of God.
Born in Ibadan, Nigeria, she graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. She first gave her life to Christ in 1986 and totally surrendered to God in 1987, got water baptized in 1988 and has never looked back.
In January 1987, she started her career as a personnel officer and later decided to train as an executive secretary in Speedwriting International College, Ikeja, Lagos. She combined administration to her role in personnel management. She rose to the position of Human Resources Manager before she left Nigeria in 2005 and migrated to the United Kingdom (U.K.) as a highly-skilled worker under the Highly-Skilled Migrant Program (HSMP).
Immediately she arrived in the U.K., her desire of going to law school became a reality. Olayinka graduated with a Legal Laws degree (LL.B.) from Northumbria University, Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2008. In August of the same year, Olayinka and her family relocated to Canada as permanent residents where the Lord had called them to do the work of the Kingdom. Olayinka later enrolled in the Internationally Trained Lawyers’ Program (ITLP), Faculty of Law, University of Toronto to study Canadian law and despite the many hurdles, challenges and setbacks, she was called to the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) in 2018.
Olayinka, a voracious reader, is a believer in continuous growth and self-development. She is resilient and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. A Canadian citizen, Olayinka is on a mission to give back by inspiring people to develop and release their potentials. She is driven and passionate about seeing people particularly young adults achieving their dreams and being their very best self.
Olayinka is a dynamic and inspiring speaker. Her areas of ministry include worship, evangelism and prayer. She has a high sense of humor and enjoys making people laugh while challenging them to be and do better. An author and a trained coach, Olayinka has an honorary award as a “2017 Game Changer” by Divine Diamonds Ministries based in Philadelphia, United States of America. She published her first book, Are You an Asset or a Liability in July 2016
Olayinka worships God from her heart and enjoys listening to music, singing and dancing. She believes that the Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God. She always seeks to impact lives within her sphere of influence and she is a woman of vision and mission who seeks the help of God to accomplish anything she sets her heart to do.
Olayinka lives in Ajax, Ontario, Canada with her husband and their three children.
