Diaries of Hephzibah | Part 4

Wonderful Story of Grace, This is my story...

My dad was handsome and rich...why won't any woman fall for him😄 he was quite an orator too...😄

Unfortunately, he got enemies...he did not have Jesus...

So, just over one year after joining him in his house... He walked out of his house, his thriving business, his family which he was now trying to put together after many years, his children from three different women, his fleet of cars including Range Rover, Mercedes Benz, Peugeot 504, Volkswagen, his edifice home, lands, money in bank, you name it...he was having a good life... He walked out of all of these and never returned to this day...39 years later😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

What a wicked world we live in... What do you think happened to him???

Last Saturday I attended a wake keep for a friend's dad who passed at 91 years and she was crying... I wept too ...I wept because I would have loved to be in her shoes...to be able to bury my dad...to know where his body lies...

Yes, he lived a reckless life but now he not only left in such a mysterious way, he never met Jesus as Lord...

Yes. This is my story...

So as a result, my brothers applied for their British passports and left Nigeria. Yours truly was born in Ibadan...no where to go. Imagine my anger against myself for being born in Ibadan. Anger against my mom for not going to London to give birth to me...anger against God, the world, my whole world crumbled but I had to keep keeping on...I watched for my dad everywhere I went...where is he? Why? He had plans for me...to send me on summer vacation the next year, to give me an apartment once I enter university...to see me become a lawyer... How was I supposed to cope...the environment was now changed suddenly...I am now vulnerable again...oh my pain...the anger...the hate... But God never left me...

I remember my dad coming into my room one night to console me after he asked my eldest brother to give me twelve serious lashes with a big stick on my butt for staying late outside with my neighbours in the neighbourhood...I was just avoiding all the intrigues in the home where my dad, his third wife, his mum and two uncles lived with us Children from three different women and I was the only girl amongst them all. So with all these people watching I got the beating of my life...my butt still aches from that experience. But my dad came in the dead of the night to pet me and hug me and I wept sore for days...

My dad left everything he ever worked for...of course I am sure against his will...he was charmed. The wicked people...they did their worst to me...But my God was with me all through... unknown to me.

To be continued...
