There Is Help For You

As we continue to journey into the new year, for some people, it is looking very bright already.  I know some young people who have set their wedding dates; some other people just got engaged and looking forward to building the relationship and take it to the next level. Others just changed jobs. For some, they are expecting a newborn in the course of the year.

On the flip side, there are some who the months ahead still looks blurry and uncertain in many areas. For me, I have laser clarity in many areas of my life but there are still some areas where I really don’t know how the tide will turn. But as I meditate and think about everything, I am hopeful that, no matter what, there is hope for me, for sure!

You may ask how I know. Well since you asked, my answer is, because God said so! In the Bible (the infallible Word of God), I can point to at least three places where God promised to help me.

 Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life. 

[Psalm 54:4]

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

[Isaiah 41:10]

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

[Hebrews 13:6]

By the way, my mantra for this year is:

 “God said it, I believe it and that settles it.”

I believe God’s promises.  I believe because of His faithfulness to me in the past.  I believe because He can never lie.  Do you believe?  Do you believe that there is help for you? There is help for you. Say it - there is help for me.  As you continue the journey into the year, remember that there is help for you. Look up to God, your Helper.

Be bold to ask for His help every step of the way. He’s able.
