I am NOT a Failure!
I was once a secretary (a clerk!) and thought that was success until I started to read some types of books, attending seminars and digging deeper. I realized along the way that I had to let go of some blaming and take responsibility for where I was. In my book, "Are You An Asset Or A Liability?" I wrote about some of the actions I took that changed the trajectory of my life.
The greatest thing that happened to me is when I realized that I needed God. So, I gave Him my life and asked Him to take it over. He did and still is and will forever.
Today, I am so much better of to the glory of God. Do not get me wrong. I am still a work in progress....
I guess what I am trying to tell you is that, you need to evaluate your life. Do you need to take on new hobbies, new goals or perhaps change your environment? You will be surprised what a little shift can do in your life.
As we approach a new month, new year, may I submit to you that if you do nothing, expect nothing. So, do something! Shift! Take responsibility for your life, your failures and stop blaming others. Change how you use your time. Have an open mind and learn continuously. Success does not just happen. Success is working and working. Have goals and take action....even if they are baby steps.
You make time for important things in your life. What is priority for you? My priority is to accomplish everything God has put in my heart. What is yours? Identify it and then go for it! No one else can accomplish it for you. Get outside your comfort zone. Yes. That's right. Maybe you are too comfortable right now but there is so much more.
Let me know your thoughts. If you have questions or need help to go from where you are now to where you want to be, take the step and write something in the comments section or connect with me.
See you at the topmost top!
Yours truly,
Olayinka Hephzibah Ekenkwo
